Philosophy

At the center of my work is a commitment to hearing a diversity of voices, seeing without judgment, and creating safe spaces for conversations to take place that help align, transform and heal communities so that thriving may occur for all. I’m interested in the bigger picture, making change in and through conscious practices of discourse and critical and compassionate inquiry. I believe that change can only occur in the bigger picture when work starts at the intimate and immediate level: with myself.  Having conversations that unearth assumptions, get at the heart of what shapes perception – and how that impacts our choices, our voting, our spending, our curriculum, our leadership: this is what drives the passion in my work.

I want to love well, create well and work in sustainable ways.
