Melissa Borgmann-Kiemde

Melissa is a contemplative writer, teacher, and partner who has worked in urban education specializing in collaborative arts literacy projects. She is passionate about generative communication processes that transform consciousness,  build community, and cultivate leadership. She currently works as a blogger –helping recruit nuns for an urban monastery — and facilitating critical response, arts literacy and diversity workshops for educators, community organizations, and churches.

Melissa is happily married to bread baker Francois Kiemde, from Burkina Faso; they are the proud parents of Gabby and Marguerite Marie Kiemde.
